The Italian guitar quartet 40 Fingers performs fingerpicking arrangements of rock, pop and soundtrack hits live at The Heights Theater.
40 Fingers play The Heights Theater on Sunday, March 28, 2027. They're an Italian guitar quartet formed in Trieste in 2017, made up of Matteo Brenci, Emanuele Grafitti, Enrico Maria Milanesi and Andrea Vittori. The four come from very different musical backgrounds, and that shows in the set: they play fingerpicking arrangements of rock, pop, and soundtrack hits, and they describe their mission as exploring new sound galaxies through a wide repertoire of original songs and adaptations.
Their sources run from Astor Piazzolla to the Beatles, the Eagles, Toto, Dire Straits and Eric Clapton, and they pull from jazz, Latin music, and popular film and TV soundtracks. They broke out with a viral video of their arrangement of "Bohemian Rhapsody," which earned the endorsement of Queen, who published the version on the band's official website. Since then, they've gathered over 100 million views on social media. On stage, the guitar playing is backed by a visual production by some of Europe's best light designers.
