Summer Tuesday Night Tunes at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic

Summer Tuesday Night Tunes returns to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic on Tuesday, August 18, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This is the 11th edition of the series, which is part of the museum's free Tuesday nights that run from 4 pm to 8 pm and bring live music to the Halifax waterfront.

On a good evening, the music is outdoors in the museum's anchor yard, right on the boardwalk. If the weather turns, it moves inside to the Small Craft Gallery, so you'll get your hour of music regardless of what the Atlantic is doing that afternoon. The museum is at 1675 Lower Water Street in downtown Halifax, easy to find if you're already wandering the waterfront.

There's a charitable side to the night, too. The museum encourages visitors to support Feed Nova Scotia and help curb food insecurity by donating through the Tip Tap system or by leaving a non-perishable food item at the admissions area. It's a simple way to put something back into the community while you're out.
