Submassive's second annual family dance party held at the Seacan container stage on the Halifax waterfront, featuring DJs and a family-friendly atmosphere.
Submassive is bringing RISE back to the waterfront this Sunday, July 26, at Foundation Wharf. It's their second annual family dance party, and it's built around the Seacan container stage, which sits right on the Halifax waterfront.
If you've never come across it, the whole day is set up as an all-day dancefloor for families and children. There are DJs playing throughout, and the atmosphere is kept family-friendly from start to finish, so it's one of those rare spots where you can bring the kids along and still spend the afternoon dancing. The music runs straight through, and the Seacan stage keeps things centred on the waterfront.

It's an all-day affair, running from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, so you can drop in for a few hours in the afternoon or hang out through the evening. You'll find it at Foundation Wharf, 1543 Saltyard Wy, right on the Halifax waterfront. Entry is free, and with the music going for eight hours, there's plenty of room to come and go as you like.
