Passed Down

Passed Down opens at The Bus Stop Theatre on September 4, running through September 10 as part of the Halifax Fringe Festival. It's a one-person horror play that comes to us from Toronto, and it's an award-winner, too.

The story follows Persephone, a millennial who inherits her great aunt's Victorian-style home after her passing. It's a one-woman show, so Persephone carries the whole thing on her own, and it runs for 60 minutes. If you're into horror that leans into the atmosphere of an old house and the things that come with an inheritance, this is right in that wheelhouse.

Behind the production are Madelaine Rose and Rosalyn Cosgrove. The show is part of the Halifax Fringe Festival, which means it's one of several productions running across the city during the festival's run. Since it's a Fringe show, it's a good one to catch if you're already planning to see a few different things over the course of the festival.
