Live on Agricola

Live on Agricola is back at the Carlo Auto Parking Lot this Friday, August 14, as part of its summer run in the North End. It's a free outdoor music series that turns a parking lot on Agricola Street into an open-air venue every Friday night throughout the summer, from early July until October.

The format is simple: two or more artists take the stage each week, with a brand-new line-up every time. The music runs from 7pm to 9pm, so it's a relatively short window that fits into a Friday evening without taking over the whole night. Because the line-up changes every week, you get a different set of acts each time you drop by, and the open-air setting means you can drift in and out as you please.

You'll find it at 2536 Agricola Street, in the Carlo Auto parking lot, across from Stillwell Beer Garden and The Brasserie. It's right in the heart of the North End, so it's easy to combine with a walk around the neighbourhood or a drink nearby. Since it's outdoors, it's a good one for a summer evening when the weather holds up.

Admission is free, and the music runs from 7pm to 9pm. If you're around the North End on a Friday night, it's a low-stakes way to catch some live music in the open air.
