Indigenous Glass Art Experience with Tribal Fusion Art

Immerse yourself in Indigenous culture, creativity, and storytelling through this unique experience at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. The session begins with an opening prayer and smudging ceremony, followed by a guided tour of the 'Welcome to Turtle Island' installation led by the artists themselves. Participants will then engage in a hands-on mosaic glass art workshop grounded in Mi'kmaw, Anishinaabe, and Anisininew teachings. All materials are provided, and you will leave with your finished coaster and an Indigenous Mosaic Art Kit to continue creating at home. Admission to the museum is included, allowing you to explore further exhibits after the workshop.
