Goodwill Trivia Mondays

Goodwill Trivia Mondays are back at Good Robot Brewing Company in the North End, with sessions running every Monday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. through the autumn. The dates listed are October 19, October 26, November 2, November 9, November 16, November 23 and November 30.

Local comedian Brad Doiron hosts the night, and the whole thing is built around a simple, community-focused hook: the bar tab helps a neighbour. Good Robot donates C$1 from every beverage sold during trivia to that week's featured nonprofit partner, so your drinks go toward a different local cause each Monday. It's a nice way to put your night out to work for someone else.

The trivia itself is general knowledge, and the evening rounds out with weekly prizes, award-winning beer and burgers. If you're not a trivia regular, it's an easy one to jump into—just gather a few friends and see how your random knowledge stacks up. The nonprofit partner changes every week, so if you have a particular cause you're rooting for, it's worth keeping an eye on who's being featured.

This isn't a one-off, either. Since 2015, Good Robot's goodwill programmes have raised more than C$120,000 for over 400 organisations across the city. It's a long-running tradition that's seen a lot of different groups benefit over the years. The sessions run from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Good Robot Brewing Company, 2736 Robie Street, and entry is free.
