Goodwill Trivia Mondays

Goodwill Trivia Mondays run every Monday at Good Robot Brewing Co. on Robie Street, with the trivia kicking off at 7:00 PM. It's a weekly night that pairs a standard trivia competition with a bit of community giving: the brewery partners with a different local charity each week and donates C$1 from every beverage sold during the night to that cause. There are also special questions tied to the week's partner, so the trivia itself changes depending on who they're supporting.

Local comedian Brad Doiron hosts the sessions, and the winning team takes home prizes every week. It's a team game, so you'll want to bring a few friends along to help cover the ground. The brewery is known for its award-winning beers and burgers, so there's plenty to drink and eat while you work through the rounds.

Since 2015, the pub's goodwill community programs have raised more than C$120,000 for over 400 organisations. That list includes the Ecology Action Centre, Feed Nova Scotia, Cobequid Wildlife Fund, Bide Awhile, and TEAM Work Cooperative, among many others. The weekly format means the support is spread across a wide range of local causes rather than just one or two big names.
