Goodwill Trivia Mondays

Goodwill Trivia Mondays runs every Monday evening at Good Robot Brewing Company, 2736 Robie Street in the North End. It's a trivia night hosted by local comedian Brad Doiron, and the whole thing is built around a simple give-back: the brewery donates C$1 from every beverage sold during the night to that week's featured nonprofit partner. The partner changes from week to week, so the money goes to a different local cause each time you drop in.

It's a long-running thing, too. Since 2015, Good Robot's goodwill programs have raised more than C$120,000 for over 400 organisations. That's a lot of drinks and a lot of different groups getting a bit of help. If you're the kind of person who likes their night out to do something useful on the side, this is a pretty easy way to make it happen—you just show up, grab a drink, and the brewery takes care of the donation.

And the taproom doesn't just do trivia. On Thursdays, it hosts Better Times Comedy, a stand-up night, and on the first Wednesday of every month, there's Silent Reading, a quiet, phone-free session for reading a book with a beer. So if you're already a regular there for the comedy or the reading, this is just one more thing to fit into the week.

Trivia runs from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. every Monday, so you've got a good window to get in, settle in, and see where the night takes you.
