Weekly charity trivia night hosted by Good Robot Brewing Company, where questions are curated to support a different local nonprofit each week.
Goodwill Trivia Mondays run every Monday at 7:00 pm at Good Robot Brewing Co., the Robie Street pub at 2736 Robie Street in the North End. It's a trivia night that changes its focus every week, with the questions tailored to a different local charity partner. If a wildlife group is the partner, you'll get a round on animals and nature; if it's an arts group, the questions will lean that way. The evening doubles as a platform for the partner to raise awareness, fundraise and recruit, which is a useful bit of exposure at a time when 62% of Nova Scotia nonprofits report a sharp rise in demand for their services.
Charities, rescues, arts groups, shelters, sports teams and student organisations are all invited to take part. The whole thing is part of Good Robot's Goodwill Programs, which the brewery has been running since 2015. One of the other programs is Goodwill Bot, which has raised more than C$120,000 for over 400 nonprofits, including Dartmouth General Hospital and Fly With Me Animal Rescue. The trivia nights were the idea of co-founder Joshua Counsil.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in Halifax and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Entry is free, and C$1 from every beverage sold goes to the weekly charity partner. It's a low-stakes way to spend a Monday night in the North End, and if you're part of a local group looking for a spot to raise some money and get your name out there, it's worth getting in touch. The trivia kicks off at 7:00 pm every Monday at the Robie Street pub.
