CNIB Guide Dog Gala

The CNIB Guide Dog Gala returns to the Westin Nova Scotian on Thursday, October 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It's the fourth edition of the fundraiser, and it falls on World Sight Day, which is when the night gets its timing. The evening supports CNIB Guide Dogs and the organization's broader mission to change what it means to be blind in Canada.

Throughout the night, you'll meet working guide dogs and puppies-in-training, and you'll hear stories from the field about the work they do. The new addition this year is a puppy room, where you can pet, play with, and snuggle puppies from Halifax Puppy Yoga. Between the working dogs and the puppy room, there's plenty of time spent with the animals that the gala is all about.

Tickets are C$125 per person, or C$1,500 for a table of ten if you're bringing a group. The gala runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Westin Nova Scotian, 1181 Hollis Street, Halifax.
