Better Times Comedy runs every Thursday night at Good Robot Brewing, 2736 Robie Street, with the show starting at 8:00 pm. It's an award-winning stand-up night that's become a bit of a fixture in the city, billed as one of the best comedy shows in Halifax. The format is a rotating cast of local comics and visiting acts, so the line-up changes from week to week.
Among the regulars you'll see are Clare Belford, a writer on This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Dan Hendricken, who's worked with CBC LOL and the Halifax Comedy Festival. Travis Lindsay and Adam Myatt are also frequent faces on the bill.
