Third Pride Bingo fundraiser for HEAL Nova Scotia with drag performances by Anna Mona-Pia, Mike Hunt and Proshenna Rett.
Atlantic Lottery Presents: Pride Bingo returns to Garrison Brewing on Tuesday, July 21, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. It's the third edition of the fundraiser, hosted by the Health Equity Alliance of Nova Scotia (HEAL Nova Scotia), and it's a night that combines a few rounds of bingo with a full drag show.
On the hosting duties is Anna Mona-Pia, who'll be running the game and keeping the evening moving, with drag performances from Mike Hunt and Proshenna Rett woven in between the calls. If you've been to the previous two, you know the drill: bingo cards and drag on the same stage, with the whole thing running for three hours.
There's a specific cause behind it, too. The night is a fundraiser for HEAL Nova Scotia, which supports people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. They describe their mission as reducing new HIV cases and ending the stigma and discrimination that still surround the virus, so the money raised goes toward that work. It's a good chance to put your evening toward something that actually does some heavy lifting in the community.

On the practical side, it's a 19+ event. The venue is accessible, with ASL interpretation and gender-neutral washrooms on site. Tickets are C$25 in advance via Showpass and C$30 at the door, so it's a bit cheaper to grab yours early. Garrison Brewing is at 1149 Marginal Road in Halifax, and the whole thing runs from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
