Live folk music performance by Yaelokre at Oran Mor, known for storytelling and the viral hit 'Harpy Hare'.
Yaelokre plays Òran Mór on Sunday 1 November, the Glasgow date of a short run of shows. The night is billed as a live music event, with Yaelokre as the sole feature on the bill.
Behind the name is Christopher Kristjansson, a Filipino-Icelandic singer-songwriter who works in folk music storytelling. If you've come across him through the internet rather than the live circuit, you'll probably recognise Harpy Hare, the song that made it into the TikTok Billboard Top 50 back in 2024. That's the track that put him on a lot of people's radar, and it's a good starting point if you're still figuring out where he fits.
The Glasgow show is the final stop of a three-date run, with the other two on 27 and 28 October in Bristol, Birmingham and London. It's a tight schedule, and Glasgow is the last of the three.
