Indie, alternative and grunge rock band Wilt bring their grunge riffs to McChuills, a Glasgow music venue.
Wilt play McChuills Music Bar & Venue on Sunday 29 November, with the show presented by DF Concerts. They're an alternative, indie and grunge rock band from Los Angeles, fronted by vocalist Chelsea Rifkin.
They started out with self-released 'bedroom rock' and built their initial following on streaming platforms. From there, they grew a larger social media presence on the back of a sound they describe as a blend of heavy guitar riffs and raw, emotional songwriting. It's that grunge side that'll be most front and centre here: the heavy riffs they've built their name on, paired with Rifkin's vocals. If you're into indie and alternative rock with a bit of weight to it, that's exactly where this sits.
McChuills is on High Street in the city centre, and it's been more than a pub for over a decade. It's a community hub where live music has never been just a way to bring in punters, and where bands have been valued and given a platform regardless of whether they fit in with what's popular at the time. This show is part of that long-running tradition of keeping a stage open for live acts in the heart of the city.

The set runs from 19:00 to 22:30, so it's a full evening of music rather than a quick turn. One thing to keep in mind: all events at McChuills are 18+, so you'll need to be of age to get in. The venue is at 80 High Street, Glasgow City Centre G1 1NL.
