New York indie-folk artist Tracey Nelson performs live at McChuills Bar as part of his UK tour.
Tracey Nelson plays McChuills Bar on Wednesday 4 November, part of a UK tour that brings the New York singer-songwriter to Glasgow. The set runs from 19:00 to 22:30 at McChuills Music Bar & Venue, 80 High Street, in the city centre.
Tracey Nelson is the recording project of Austin Noll, a New York-based singer-songwriter who took the name in tribute to his mother. He's originally from Lawrence, Kansas, and spent years in bands before moving to solo work: he co-led the indie outfit My Sins and played guitar with Hotline TNT. His music weaves shambling indie rock together with warm alt-country influences and unhurried songwriting, and the Glasgow date is one stop on his tour across the UK.
He's touring his debut album, Hercules, which came out in July 2026 on the K Records imprint Perennial. He recorded it with North Carolina musicians, and it was co-produced by MJ Lenderman and Colin Miller, with contributions from members of Wednesday and The Wind. It's the record he's bringing over from the States, and it's the first full-length release under the Tracey Nelson name.

McChuills describes itself as more than just a pub: a community hub where live music was never just a way to bring in punters, and where bands were valued on their own terms rather than what was popular at the time. All events at the venue are 18+. The show runs from 19:00 to 22:30 on Wednesday 4 November.
