Electronic music duo TOMORA, featuring Tom Rowlands and AURORA, perform live at SWG3 Galvanizers.
TOMORA play SWG3 Galvanizers on Monday 26 October, with doors opening at 7pm. It's a collaborative duo bringing together two names from very different corners of the map: Tom Rowlands, one half of The Chemical Brothers, who helped define the sound of British electronic music, and AURORA, who's established herself as one of pop music's most distinctive voices. The two have come together under the name TOMORA, and this is the live version of that pairing.
There's a fair bit of new material to draw from. Their debut album, COME CLOSER, is out, and they've also released the EP CELEBRATION, so the set will be built around those two records. If you've only heard one or the other, it's a good chance to hear them together in the same room.

It's a bit of an odd-couple pairing on paper — one half from the big-beat, dancefloor side of things and the other from a more singular, pop-focused place — and that's exactly where the interest lies. The night is for ages 14+, with under-16s needing to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and one adult in charge of a maximum of two under-16s. Doors open at 7pm at SWG3 Galvanizers in Glasgow.
