A night of storytelling, singalong anthems and west of Ireland charm at Celtic Connections 2027, featuring The Saw Doctors and Ímar.
The Saw Doctors play the Glasgow International Arena on Friday 15 January 2027, as part of Celtic Connections. They're sharing the bill with Ímar, so there are two acts on the night.
It's a set built around the west of Ireland, with the band's storytelling and singalong anthems at the centre. They'll be drawing on the classics they're best known for, like 'N17' and 'I Useta Lover', songs that look at everyday lives, places and memories. Davy Carton is on vocals and Leo Moran on guitar, with saxophone, keyboards, backing vocals and a driving rhythm section filling out the sound. They're returning in triumphant form after an acclaimed recent comeback, and they've remained one of Ireland's most cherished live acts.
Their live shows have a reputation for energy and generosity, with an easy camaraderie that turns large halls into gatherings of old friends. It's that same spirit they're bringing to the arena for this date, which sits within the wider Celtic Connections 2027 programme.
