A lavish tribute show recreating the music and humour of The Beatles with a cast that looks and sounds like the Fab Four.
The Magic of the Beatles play the King's Theatre on Saturday 9 January 2027, starting at 7:30 PM. It's a tribute show that's toured the UK and played to sell-out crowds around the world, and this is its Glasgow stop.
The cast doesn't just look and sound like John, Paul, George and Ringo; they set out to recreate the excitement and the sense of humour that were the Fab Four's trademark. They play authentic guitars and amps, and the set is a musical tour through the golden era of pop, working its way through million-selling chart toppers like Love Me Do, She Loves You, Please Please Me, Help, Hey Jude and Let It Be. One reviewer called it 'an outstanding tribute to one of the greatest bands in musical history'.
It's a tribute show, so it's not affiliated with any original artists, estates or management companies. That's the whole point, though: it's a recreation of the Beatles' sound and stage presence rather than a performance by the original members. The focus is on the music they left behind, played by a cast that aims to get the look and the feel of the four of them right.
