Interactive courtroom drama where the audience acts as the jury, deciding guilty or not guilty based on witness testimonies and evidence.
The Jury Experience opens at Saint Luke's & The Winged Ox on Sunday 25 October, with the first preview and opening night kicking off a run that goes until 13 December. It's an interactive courtroom drama, and the twist is right in the name: you don't sit in the gallery watching the action from a distance. Instead, you sit in the jury box. You listen to the witness testimonies, examine the evidence, and at the end, you cast the vote that decides whether the accused is guilty or not.
This particular chapter, Death on the Port Side, starts on a summer night when the son of a powerful politician took the wheel of the family speedboat with an ex-lover and old friends on board. Hours later, one person was dead, another lay in a coma, and the son was facing murder charges. That's the case you'll be weighing up. The show runs for about an hour, and it's performed in English. It's recommended for ages 12 and over, with under-16s needing an adult with them.

It's not all light going — the plot touches on domestic violence, emotional manipulation and alcohol use, so it's worth keeping that in mind before you book. Tickets are between £38.50 and £43, and you can catch it any time from that opening night on the 25th through to the closing night on 13 December. Doors open half an hour before showtime, and late entry isn't permitted, so make sure you're in your seat before things get underway.
