An evening with five of Celtic FC's most celebrated former players sharing stories, laughter and memories from the dressing room.
Celtic Legends Live comes to the Kings Theatre on Sunday 10 January 2027, with five of Celtic's former players sharing the stage for an evening of stories and memories from the dressing room. It's billed as An Evening with Celtic Legends Live, and the line-up brings together Roy Aitken, Frank McAvennie, John Hartson, Charlie Mulgrew and Kris Commons.
The five players come from different eras of the club's history, so the night pulls from a wide stretch of Celtic's recent past. You'll hear first-hand accounts from inside the squad, behind-the-scenes stories from matches that stayed with them, and candid reflections on life at one of the world's most passionately supported football clubs. The format mixes interviews, anecdotes and career highlights, with a Q&A session where the audience can ask their own questions.
The stories cover a lot of ground: title-winning campaigns, European adventures, dressing-room pranks and Old Firm encounters. Because the players span different decades, the conversation reaches across multiple eras of the club rather than sticking to one particular team or manager. It's less about the match reports you've already read and more about the things that happen when the cameras aren't rolling.
