English indie folk trio The Dunwells perform a 90-minute intimate set at The Poetry Club in the Finnieston area.
The Dunwells play The Poetry Club on Sunday 8 November, part of the Arches Sessions. They're a UK indie folk trio, also known as Joe & Dave, who've built their following on atmospheric, introspective lyrics and on playing smaller rooms rather than arenas. The band draws on fifteen years in the music business, and the Arches Sessions format leans into that intimacy: a 90-minute set under the arches of Glasgow's West End, with the chance to meet and greet the performers before and after the show.
It's a daytime one, with doors opening at 1pm at The Poetry Club, which is inside SWG3 at 100 Eastvale Place, G3 8QG. The set is 90 minutes long, and the meet-and-greet is both before and after, so you can catch them on either side of the music. The whole thing is for ages 14 and over, and under-16s have to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, with one adult looking after a maximum of two under-16s.
