Closing musical theatre cabaret of 2026 by Drive Official, featuring performances, costume prizes and tarot readings by Marc Mackinnon.
DRIVE OFFICIAL are bringing their final musical theatre cabaret of 2026 to Oran Mor on Thursday 29 October, a night they've titled The Deadly Encore: The Spooky Musical Theatre Cabaret Party. It's their closing show of the year, and as the name suggests, it leans into the spooky season with a cabaret format that puts musical theatre numbers alongside a few extra treats.
The cast is a large one: Lucy Hutchison, Dylan Wood, Jess Douglas-Welsh, Evan Elliot, Colum Findlay, Angel Lewis-Massey, Jessica Donnelly, John McGlone, Daisy Maver-Young and Harry Reid, with Samuel MacDonald on accompaniment. That's ten performers on the bill, so there's plenty of ground to cover across the night. Between the songs, Marc Mackinnon will be doing tarot card readings, and there are costume prizes up for grabs, so it's the kind of evening where turning up in character is half the point.
