Stand-up comedy night featuring emerging talent at 142B Lounge, part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
The Cracking Comedy Compilation is taking over 142B Lounge Nightclub on Wednesday 10 March, with a second date following on Wednesday 24 March. Both nights start at 6.30pm, and the venue is 142b St Vincent Street in the city centre, G2 5LA.
The night is built on a simple promise: catch the best in the business before they make it big. It brings together a brand new batch of comics testing out their freshest jokes, billed as a chance to see future headliners and laugh-out-loud moments in the making. If you're the kind of person who likes to say you saw someone early on, this is that sort of room.
It's part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, which returns in March 2027 as the largest comedy festival of its kind in Europe and a long-standing fixture of the city's cultural calendar. The festival stages stand-up across Glasgow, pairing top television names and stars from around the UK and beyond with the best of home-grown Scottish talent. The Cracking Comedy Compilation sits on the newer end of that mix, focusing on the comics still working their way up.

The venue is 142B Lounge, on St Vincent Street in the city centre. It's known as Glasgow's only destination dedicated to Afrobeat, Amapiano, Dancehall, Hip Hop and R&B, with the best DJs and a vibrant atmosphere. It's a bit of a departure from its usual nights, so it'll be a different kind of crowd in there for this. Both dates are Wednesday 10 and 24 March, starting at 6.30pm.
