Finnish bluegrass band Steve 'n' Seagulls bring their banjo-fuelled take on heavy metal classics to Oran Mor, with support from The Mooligans.
Steve 'n' Seagulls play Oran Mor on Tuesday 2 March 2027, as part of their UK tour. They're a Finnish band whose sound blends country crossover, bluegrass and newgrass, and the Glasgow date sees them sharing the bill with The Mooligans.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, you've probably come across their videos. In the summer of 2014, they filmed three live sessions at their farm in Finland; the second, a bluegrass take on AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck', took the internet by storm and launched them into a global tour. Their music videos have since gathered close to 346 million views on YouTube, and they've played some of the world's biggest festivals, including Wacken Open Air, Les Trans Musicales, Nova Rock and Sweden Rock.
Their first four albums all charted in Finland and on the Billboard bluegrass chart, and in 2025 they released their fifth, The Dark Side of the Moo. The Glasgow show is for over-14s only, so it's one to keep in mind if you're bringing younger ones along.
