Dream-pop duo Sports launch their 2026 European headline tour at Room 2, presented by PCL.
Sports play Room 2 on Saturday 17 October, part of a headline tour across Europe in 2026. The Glasgow date is presented by PCL.
Sports are an Oklahoma-based dream-pop duo, the long-standing collaboration between Christian Theriot and Cale Chronister. Both hail from Tulsa, and they've built their sound around breezy melodies and a jangly guitar feel. The tour is fronted by their latest single, 'Keep Falling In Love', which they describe as a shimmering ode to the way love grows and changes over time. It's a good summary of what they do: lush psychedelic textures layered over dreamy pop melodies, and that same jangly guitar work that's been there from the start.
It's a headline tour, so the set will be built around their own material rather than a shared bill. 'Keep Falling In Love' is the new track leading the way, and the rest of the night will draw from the dream-pop they've been working on together as a duo. If you're familiar with the sound, you'll recognise the psychedelic textures and the melodic, breezy side of indie pop they're known for.
