British rapper Songer returns to SWG3 for a headline show as part of his UK tour, joined by JD Cliffe and Nori.
Songer is back at SWG3 on Sunday 22 November, a headline date as part of his UK tour. He's a rapper from Reading, and if you've come across him before, it's probably through his BL@CKBOX freestyles, which is where he built his following. Since then he's put out chart-topping tracks like 'Toxic (Freestyle)', 'Vino Bandit' and 'SKALA', and he's known for moving easily between UK hip hop, drum and bass and UK garage.
He's not taking the stage alone. He shares the bill with JD Cliffe, a North West London rapper and artist who describes his 'grindie' sound as a blend of grime lyricism and double-time flows with rock, punk and indie influences. And then there's Nori, an alternative grime and UK rap artist from St Albans, known for a 'video game grime' sound that fuses traditional grime with R&B, dance and melodic elements. Between the three of them, the night covers a fair bit of ground across the UK rap and grime spectrum.
