Skindred

Skindred are playing The Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Friday 13 November, as part of their You Got This Tour. They're the only name on the bill for the night, so it's just them taking the full set.

If you're not familiar, they're a ragga-punk-metal four-piece from Newport, Wales. Benji Webbe is on vocals, and the rest of the line-up is drummer Arya Goggin and guitarist Mikey Demus. They've put out six studio albums, from Babylon in 2002 through to Volume in 2015, and picked up Kerrang! and Metal Hammer Awards along the way. They've also built a reputation for the Newport Helicopter, which is a particular move that's become a bit of a thing at their shows.

They describe themselves as a ragga-punk-metal band, and that's a fair summary of what they do — they blend ragga, punk, and metal into one sound. With Big Tings, they've made a point of showing they're more than just a live act, so the set should draw from their studio work as well as the stage energy they're known for. The You Got This Tour is the run they're on right now, and the Glasgow date is one of the stops.

The gig is at the Barrowland Ballroom, 244 Gallowgate, Glasgow, G4 0TT, on Friday 13 November 2026. It's a headline show, so Skindred are the main feature of the night.
