Stand-up comedy show by Mammy Banter comedian Serena Terry, rescheduled from February 2026, exploring her journey through therapy and self-care.
Serena Terry is playing the SEC Armadillo on Friday 16 October, her first Glasgow date since the show was rescheduled from February. She's a comedian, author and the creator of 'Mammy Banter', the online page that built her following. This is part of her biggest UK and Ireland tour to date, and it's a step up from her previous two, which both sold out. Back in 2024, she became the first woman to sell out Belfast's SSE Arena.
The show is called Therapy, and it's a bit more personal than her usual stuff. Terry talks about a period of depression and a four-month hiatus from performing, and the therapy and self-care she turned to afterwards. She describes herself now as still medicated, still peri-menopausal and a little bit mentally unstable, but functioning and ready to tell the audience about her journey back. Over the last six months, she's tried 22 different types of therapy in an attempt to improve her physical and mental health and calm the chaos of being a busy mum on the cusp of turning 40, with outcomes she calls diverse, embarrassing and hilarious. The show follows that search for solace and how it's left her husband and children regularly bewildered.

It's a stand-up set, so it's just her on stage telling those stories. The Armadillo is a big room, but it's a good one for comedy. If you're heading along, it's for ages 16 and over, and the venue has wheelchair and ambulant accessible positions. Doors open at 18:30, the show starts at 19:30, and there's a curfew of 23:00. Tickets are between £28.05 and £33.75.
