Fast-rising indie-folk musician Seb Lowe headlines SWG3 as part of his live dates, with Kate Couriel as support.
Seb Lowe headlines SWG3 on Saturday 14 November, one of his live dates this autumn. He's an English singer-songwriter who's built his following on acoustic melodies and politically charged lyrics, and the set will be supported by Kate Couriel.
If you're not familiar with him, the comparisons that usually come up are Billy Bragg, Bob Dylan and Jamie Webster — all songwriters who let the words do the heavy lifting over a stripped-back sound. It's that same folk tradition: a voice and a guitar, and a focus on the song rather than the production around it. He's a fast-rising name in the indie-folk scene, and this is one of the dates he's playing as part of his live run.
The show is in the TV Studio, which is on the ground floor of the SWG3 complex in the Finnieston area. It's a good spot for a night like this — close enough to the stage that you can hear the lyrics properly, and easy to get to if you're coming from the city centre. Doors open at 7pm, so there's plenty of time to get in and settled before the music starts.

On the practical side, the night is recommended for ages 14 and over, and under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult. There's also an accessible viewing platform with seats and wheelchair spaces available, which you can book through Ticketmaster. With the TV Studio being on the ground floor, it's a straightforward one to get into. Doors at 7pm, Saturday 14 November at SWG3.
