Concert by American actress and singer Rita Wilson performing her songs on her Sound of a Woman Europe Tour at Oran Mor.
Rita Wilson brings her Sound of a Woman Europe Tour to Òran Mór on Monday 16 November, with the show starting at 19:00. Tickets are £25.00.
Most of us know her as an actress, from Sleepless in Seattle, Now and Then and Runaway Bride, but there's a whole other side to her career that doesn't always get the same spotlight. She's spent more than four decades working across film, music and production, and this tour is the singing side of that. Her musical life really took off after she played Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, and since her debut album AM/FM she's built a following as a singer-songwriter known for her storytelling and for collaborating with the likes of Willie Nelson and Elvis Costello.
She's just as active behind the camera, too. She's produced global hits like My Big Fat Greek Wedding and the Mamma Mia! franchise, and in 2026 she's continuing to balance that production work with live performance. So while you might recognise her from the screen, this is her on stage as a musician, not as a producer or an actress.
