Shoegaze legends Ride bring their Here and Now tour to the historic Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow.
Ride are playing The Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Friday 19 February 2027, as part of their Here and Now tour. It's the original line-up — Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Loz Colbert and Steve Queralt — back on stage together.
If you're coming to them through the early stuff, they formed in Oxford in 1988 and signed to Creation Records in 1989. They put out four albums that helped define the British shoegaze and alternative rock scene: Nowhere in 1990, Going Blank Again in 1992, Carnival of Light, and Tarantula. From those came songs like 'Vapour Trail' and 'Leave Them All Behind'. After a long break, the band reformed in 2014 with the same four members and returned to the stage at festivals like Coachella, Primavera and Field Day.

They've kept recording since then, with Weather Diaries in 2017, This Is Not a Safe Place in 2019, and Interplay in 2024. The Glasgow date is part of the Here and Now tour, so you'll get the newer material alongside the older songs. The show starts at 7:00 PM at the Barrowland Ballroom, 244 Gallowgate, Glasgow G4 0TT.
