American singer and underground music icon Rebecca Black performs live at Glasgow's SWG3 Galvanizers.
Rebecca Black plays SWG3 on Thursday 29 April 2027, as part of a major tour that brings her to Glasgow. It's a date at the Galvanizers, the venue's TV studio space, with doors opening at 7pm.
If you're coming to her as a new listener, there's a fair bit to catch up on. She's described as an icon of underground music, fashion and queer art scenes, an artist who carves her own path with a wide-ranging creative output. That output has led to collaborations with Slayyyter, MØ and bbno$, and in 2021 she released her first project, Rebecca Black Was Here, which took her to the GLAAD Awards and onto Tamron Hall.
And then there's the other side of the story. Nearly a decade after her cameo in Katy Perry's video for 'Last Friday Night', she's still popping up in pop culture, with appearances in videos for Blu de Tiger and Amy Allen. During New York Fashion Week, Billboard called her 'one of the ultimate cool girls'.
