Dublin post-punk and indie power trio Really Good Time live at McChuills.
Really Good Time play McChuills Bar on Sunday 18 October, the Glasgow stop of their most extensive tour to date. They're a three-piece from Dublin, and the night is presented by DF Concerts.
They've spent the last four years building a reputation for a relentless, ear-immolating, breakneck live show, and they've captured that energy on their debut album, Affirmations. That's the record they've been taking on the road across the EU and UK throughout autumn 2026, with this Scottish date fitting into that run. If you're wondering where the sound sits, Lamacq's roundtable described it as a mutant blend of Queens of the Stone Age and The Walkmen — a fair hint at the heavy, driving side of things.
They're playing McChuills Music Bar & Venue, 80 High Street, in the city centre. It's long been regarded as more than just a pub: an institution and community hub where live music was never just a way to bring in punters, but where bands and musicians were valued and given a platform, and where you didn't have to pay to play or fit in with what was popular at the time. All events at the venue are 18+.
