The Natural History Museum brings its Dinosaurs Live show to the Kings Theatre, a fun educational show for children and adults featuring life-like dinosaur models.
Dinosaurs Live comes to the Kings Theatre on Saturday 13 February 2027, brought to Glasgow by the Natural History Museum in London and Mark Thompson Productions. It's the museum's dinosaur collection on tour, and it's a bit of a milestone: the Natural History Museum is billed as 'the home of dinosaurs', and this is the first time it's performed away from its museum home since 1881.
The show takes you back through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods to a prehistoric landscape where life-like dinosaur models walk the stage alongside trees, wildlife and entire continents. It's not just about the models, though; the production leans on the science of fossils, the vast timescales of change, and how the planet has transformed over hundreds of millions of years. It's pitched as a fun, educational show for children and adults alike, so it works as a family outing as much as a standalone trip if you've just got a thing for the prehistoric.
