Murder: A Search for the Truth - The Trial Barrister & The Murder Detective

David Swindle is back at Barras Art & Design Centre on Sunday 18 October, returning to the East End for another run of Murder: A Search for the Truth. He's an international crime expert who runs David Swindle Crime Solutions, and this is his live show on murder and the trial process.

He's not on his own this time. He's joined by trial barrister Thomas Leonard Ross KC of Benchmark Advocates, who's known for his work on high-profile murder cases and his appearances in television documentaries. Together they break down high-profile murders, lesser-known cases and cold cases, with a strong focus on the victims and their families. The two describe the show as raw, real and brutally honest, exposing the reality behind murder investigations and the ripple effect on victims' families.

It's a new on-stage collaboration, and it follows a sold-out 2025 run of Murder: A Search for the Truth at the same venue. If you're into the mechanics of how a murder case actually moves from the crime scene through to the courtroom, this is exactly that: the crime expert and the trial barrister talking through the process from both sides of the fence.

It runs from 1.30pm to 4pm at Barras Art & Design Centre (BAaD), 54 Calton Entry, Glasgow East End G40 2SB. Tickets are £25.63.
