Live comedy show by MaskFace (Lucha DS), a former professional Lucha Libre wrestler, at Anderson's as part of the Glasgow Comedy Festival 2027.
MaskFace plays Anderson's on Thursday 18 March, part of the International Comedy Festival 2027. If the name sounds a bit off for a comedy club, that's because it is. MaskFace is the stage name of Lucha DS, a masked pro wrestler who spent years in the world of Scottish and Mexican Lucha Libre before putting down the steel chair and picking up the microphone.
It's a proper career pivot. He's gone from the ring to the Glasgow comedy circuit, and he's kept the mask for the transition. He describes it as bringing his own brand of comedy to the circuit, so it's not just a wrestler telling a few stories about the old days — it's a full comedy set from someone who's spent a good chunk of his life in a completely different world. The mask stays on, and the wrestling background is the starting point, not the whole show.
