Glasgow singer-songwriter Katee Kross performs a set celebrating the best of Scotland's homegrown music, with singalongs and storytelling songs.
Katee Kross plays Gael & Grain on Saturday 29 August, starting at 19:30. She's a Glasgow singer-songwriter whose music sits between the storytelling of Country and the textures of Americana, and the night is built around celebrating Scotland's homegrown music.
Kross is known for a vocal range that moves from delicate, emotive tones to a powerful, gritty delivery. She draws on her roots in Folk and Country to honour Scotland's musical heritage while keeping a space for contemporary voices. She grew up in a close-knit musical family and has been performing across the UK and Europe since she turned professional in 2016.
The set itself is described as a celebration of the breadth of Scotland's homegrown music, with singalongs and storytelling songs and a warm Highland welcome. It's backed by Gael & Grain's two Scottish spirits, Loch Lomond Single Malt and Ben Lomond Gin, which the venue presents as its brand partners for traditional music sessions.
