Kid Kapichi

Kid Kapichi bring their UK tour to SWG3 on Tuesday 17 November, playing the TV Studio. The Hastings duo are touring new material alongside fan favourites, and they've got Fog Bandits opening the night.

Kid Kapichi are an alternative rock and post-punk outfit fronted by Jack Wilson. He describes their first single as the dawn of a new age for the group, and calls the album very introspective, written against a period of huge change and personal growth. Sonically, it's slick and clean with a mature feel, taking its cues from peers they've already shared a stage with: Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Liam Gallagher, Madness and Nothing But Thieves. That's a broad spread of influences to pull from, and the set should reflect it, with the new tracks sitting alongside the older songs they've built their following on.

It's a 14+ show, so if you're bringing anyone under 16, they'll need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can look after up to two under-16s, so keep that in mind if you're heading down as a group. Doors open at 7pm, and the night wraps up by the 10pm curfew.
