Australian indie rock and alt-country singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin performs live at the historic Barrowland Ballroom.
Julia Jacklin plays the Barrowland Ballroom on Wednesday 17 February 2027, part of a world tour that runs across 2026 and 2027. She's an Australian indie rock and alt-country singer-songwriter, raised in the Blue Mountains and now based in Sydney.
She first got noticed with her 2016 debut Don't Let the Kids Win, which got a lot of support from BBC Radio 6 Music. That was followed by Crushing (2016) and PRE PLEASURE (2022). She's known for emotionally direct, witty lyrics and a commanding vocal presence, and she's picked up two ARIA Awards along the way. She's shared stages with Lana Del Rey and Mitski and played major festivals like Glastonbury.
This tour comes at a bit of a turning point: she's just signed her first-ever global record deal with the independent label 4AD, and the tour announcement went out alongside it. So the Glasgow date is part of a much larger run of shows across the next two years.
