Josie Long and Robin Ince reunite for a special comedy tour after two decades of friendship and creativity, featuring stand-up, poetry and conversation.
Josie Long and Robin Ince are back together at Saint Luke's & The Winged Ox on Sunday 22 November, their first Glasgow date as a duo in years. They've known each other for two decades, and this tour is built around that: twenty years of performing and making things together, now brought back to the stage.
It's not a standard stand-up set. The evening is a mix of stand-up, poetry, conversation and digression, and it's driven by what happens when two curious minds share the stage rather than a fixed script. Long and Ince have spent twenty years as friends and collaborators, and that's exactly what the show is celebrating—the friendship and the creativity that's grown out of it over two decades.
Crosstown Concerts is presenting the show, and it's open to audiences of all ages, with under-18s needing to be accompanied by an adult. It's a Sunday night, so it works as a low-key way to round off the weekend.
