An 18+ adults-only pantomime from Patter Productions, following the success of The Wizard Wae The Big Bawz, featuring outrageous comedy and audience banter.
Patter Productions are back at The Pavilion Theatre on Sunday 21 February 2027 with Jack And His Big Beanstalk, a brand-new 18+ adults-only pantomime. It's their first show since The Wizard Wae The Big Bawz, which they're describing as a sell-out success, and this one follows the same formula: outrageous comedy, cheek, charm, audience banter, and more innuendo than you can shake a stauner at. If you've seen their previous work, you'll know exactly where this is heading.
It's a pantomime in the traditional sense, but strictly for grown-ups. The 18+ rating is the first thing to keep in mind, so it's a night for the adult crowd rather than a family outing. The whole thing is built around that same brand of broad, cheeky humour they've made a name for, with the audience banter and the innuendo taking centre stage.
The venue is The Pavilion Theatre on Renfield Street in Glasgow City Centre, known as the city's favourite variety theatre. It was first built in 1904 as a music hall and still wears its Edwardian-style façade, with a grand entrance foyer, a marble staircase, and stained glass windows. Inside, the auditorium is full of ornate plasterwork and a proscenium arch stage that seats around 1,450. Over the years, it's hosted names like Laurel and Hardy, Judy Garland, and Morecambe and Wise, so it's a room that's seen its fair share of variety.
