Indie-rock tribute festival featuring eight tribute bands covering hits from The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Sam Fender, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Kooks and Fontaines D.C.
Indiepalooza comes to The Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Saturday 27 February 2027, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It's a touring indie-rock tribute festival that puts eight tribute bands on one bill, and the Glasgow date is part of its fifth year on the road. The night is built around cover versions of the original artists' biggest hits, with the bands playing as separate acts throughout the evening.
The line-up for the night is The Kopycat Killers (The Killers), Sub-Arctic Monkeys (Arctic Monkeys), Oasis 96 (Oasis), Kasabian't (Kasabian), Scam Fender (Sam Fender), Kaiser Cheats (Kaiser Chiefs), Kooky Kooks (Kooks) and Fontaines D.C. (Fontaines D.C.). Among the songs they'll work through are Mr Brightside, Don't Look Back In Anger, I Predict A Riot, Seventeen Going Under, Wonderwall and Mardy Bum.
Behind the different names is a small group of musicians. The bands draw from a pool of eight players, fronted by Stuart Rook, with Eddy Andersen and Louis Suttle also on vocals. They perform as separate acts, and the festival bills itself as 'the UK's best indie festival'. Over the last few years, it's sold out 1,000-capacity indoor venues across the country, and its acts play festivals both in the UK and abroad.
