Nashville alt-pop four-piece In Colour bring their melodic tunes to King Tut's Wah Wah Hut.
In Colour play King Tut's Wah Wah Hut on Saturday 20 February 2027. They're a Nashville alt-pop four-piece, and this is their only Glasgow date of the run.
The band's chemistry comes from years of friendship. The four of them — Holden Clontz, Matthew Hastings, Val Hoyt and Miles Laderman — first got stuck together during a brutal snowstorm in early 2024, when they were snowed in together. Val and Miles go back the furthest: they met at an Atlanta middle school, went to the same high school, and later lived together in Nashville after attending Belmont University. Holden moved to Music City at 19 and linked up with Matt through his roommate. It's a group that grew out of long-term friendships rather than a session band put together for a project.
Their sound draws on a wide spread of influences: Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Switchfoot, The Beatles, U2 and Michael Jackson. They released their debut single 'Headlights' on Valentine's Day 2025, which has since passed 5.2 million Spotify streams, followed by their debut EP Snow Day on Big Loud Rock, introduced by 'I Want You'. The title Snow Day is a nod to that early 2024 storm that brought them together in the first place.
