Rising metalcore group I Promised The World headline with support from Rosasharin at The Classic Grand.
I Promised The World play The Classic Grand on Sunday 25 October, with support from Rosasharin. It's part of a string of UK dates that week, with the band also playing London, Birmingham and Newcastle.
They're a post-hardcore and metalcore five-piece from Denton, Texas, and they've gone through a few names before landing on this one. They started in 2020 as Sw!tch, then became Sinema, before officially rebranding as I Promised The World in May 2025. The project began as an emotional outlet for vocalist and guitarist Caleb Molina to process the loss of his father, and that personal start still sits at the heart of what they do.
Sound-wise, they're looking back to the mid-2000s melodic metalcore and MySpace-era emo scenes. They blend technical guitar work and aggressive vocals with soaring, clean melodies, so the set should pull in both ends of that sound. The full line-up is Caleb Molina on vocals and guitar, Hunter Wilson on vocals, Mason Nowlin on guitar, Rivers Shutt on bass, Mason Zschau on drums and Zain Omar on keyboards.
