Oran Mor's resident DJs take you through the bells into the early hours to bring in the new year.
Òran Mór is hosting Hogmanay In One Mór on 31 December, a night that takes you right through the bells and into the early hours of the new year. It's a straightforward one: the venue's resident DJs are on the decks, and they'll keep the music going from the countdown well into the next morning.
If you're still figuring out your New Year's Eve plans, this is a good place to start. Instead of a one-off act or a short set, you've got the resident DJs handling the whole night, so the music doesn't stop when the clock strikes midnight. It's the kind of thing you can roll into and stay as long as you fancy, rather than a ticketed show with a set finish time.
The venue is Òran Mór, up at the top of Byres Road in the West End (G12 8QX). It's a spot most of us know well, and having the residents on the night keeps things familiar. The music starts at 22:30, so you've got a few hours to get settled before the bells, and then it carries on long after the new year has kicked in.

Tickets are £30, and since it's a resident night, the music is the main thing on the bill. With the start time at 22:30, it's a late one that runs deep into the early hours, so you can see the year out and the next one in without having to move on.
