Getdown Services

Getdown Services play the Barrowland Ballroom on Thursday 26 November, with support from Shelf Lives. It's a Glasgow date on their Massive Champion tour, and the two-piece Bristol act describe their live show as a sweat-soaked, tub-thumping, groove-infused experience. If that sounds like your kind of night, you've got the run of the room to get stuck in.

There's a bit of history to this one: the show was originally scheduled for SWG3, but it's been upgraded to the Barrowland Ballroom because of demand. If you've already bought tickets for the original venue, they're still valid, so you can just head straight to the Barrowland instead. The support comes from Shelf Lives, who'll open the night before Getdown Services take over.

As a duo, Getdown Services build their sound around the groove, and they're not shy about the sweat that comes with it. The Massive Champion tour is taking them across the country, and this is the Glasgow stop. With Shelf Lives on support, the night starts early and keeps going.

It's a Thursday night, so you'll be in the city mid-week. The show starts at 19:00, and entry is free.
