Exit Strategy: Everyone's Got One

Lorraine brings Exit Strategy: Everyone's Got One to Dram! on Saturday 20 March, as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. It's a sharp, fearless stand-up show that doesn't shy away from the things we usually only talk about in confidence: work, money, ambition, and that exhausting pressure to keep going when everything feels broken. If those are things you've been thinking about lately, you're in good company.

Lorraine describes the show as a night of cathartic laughter, unexpected turns, and one woman's search for a route out. It's the kind of set that takes the things that usually feel heavy and finds the funny in them, and since it's part of the festival, it's one of many comedy shows running across the city that month. If you're already planning a few festival dates, this fits in easily.

As for the person behind it, Lorraine is a Wildcard (Amused Moose New Comedian 2020) and was a semi-finalist for British Comedian of the Year 2021. She's built her name on the kind of stand-up that's as much about the writing as the delivery, and Exit Strategy carries that through.

It's a matinee, so it's a good one if you'd rather have your evening free. Doors open at 13:15, and the show starts at 13:30 at Dram!, 232-246 Woodlands Road, Glasgow West End, G3 6ND. Tickets are £6.60.
