Disney on ice show with Mickey Mouse and his friends skating through scenes from Moana, The Lion King, Aladdin and Toy Story.
Disney on Ice is coming to The OVO Hydro in Glasgow for a five-night run from Wednesday 24 to Sunday 28 March 2027. The show is called Road Trip Adventures, and it follows Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends on a trip to some of the most recognisable spots from the Disney films.
It's a bit of a tour of the Disney universe in one go. You'll see Moana in Motunui, Simba in the Pride Lands, Aladdin's princely parade, and a carnival with Woody and Forky. The whole thing is tied together as a road trip, skating from the rooftops of London to the shores of Motunui, through a safari in the Pride Lands and on to that carnival with Woody and Forky. It's a good mix of different worlds, so there's something in there for anyone who knows the characters.
On the practical side, the show runs about an hour and a half to two hours, with a 15 to 20 minute interval in the middle. It's suitable for all ages and recommended for ages two and up; children under two can come along without a ticket if they sit on a parent or guardian's lap. Be aware that the production uses theatrical smoke and fog effects, pyrotechnics and strobe lighting throughout. Tickets are e-tickets, sent by email 14 days before the performance to be shown on a mobile device.
