David William Bryan performs his new work-in-progress stand-up show, a chaotic hour about dogs, racists and being married, as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
David William Bryan plays his first ever Glasgow show at Gael & Grain on Friday 26 March, as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. The show is called The Forsaken Button, and it's a work-in-progress, which means you're seeing it while it's still being shaped. The hour is described as chaotic, and the material runs through dogs, racists and being married.
There's a specific hook to the format: the running order is decided by whichever bit he remembers first. It's a new show, so the structure is still open, and the order of the jokes might change from one night to the next.
Bryan comes to Glasgow from Hull, where he grew up and where he's still billed as the city's biggest dog lover. He lives in Edinburgh now, and he's built a solid track record there, selling out multiple Edinburgh Fringe runs and picking up more than 50 professional five-star reviews for his solo work. This is his first time performing in Glasgow, and it falls within the Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2027, which runs from 10 to 28 March.
